Planning Agreements Policy
The Planning Agreements Policy establishes a fair and transparent framework relating to Council's use of planning agreements.
It ensures that participants in the negotiation understand their duties to maintain the highest standards of probity, and includes:
- the preparation of planning agreements;
- the procedures for negotiating planning agreements;
- staff roles and responsibilities and;
- probity matters.
This Policy demonstrates Council's commitment to enhancing flexibility in delivering public benefits by planning agreements.
The Policy is aligned to the Liveable and Distinctive destination of the Community Strategic Plan CBCity 2036.
