Do you know a student in years 3-6 or a young person aged 12-18 who inspires others, uplifts those around them or makes a meaningful difference in Canterbury-Bankstown?

We’d love to recognise their contributions and share their story.

Our Children and Youth Awards recognise the achievements of children and young people in Canterbury-Bankstown. We have two age categories:

Nominations opened on 1 September 2025 and closed 5 October 2025.

Finalists are announced on Wednesday 5 November 2025 and a ceremony will be held on Monday 24 November 2025.

Children's category

Open to all school children in years 3-6 who live or study in Canterbury-Bankstown.

Young people's category

For young people who have shown an outstanding ability to represent, lead and be a positive role model for their peers.
