Belmore Youth Resource Centre (BYRC)

Belmore Youth Resource Centre (BYRC) provides programs and services for young people in our City.

We are committed to working in partnership with young people and local organisations, in order to best understand and meet their needs. 

Current services co-located at BYRC include:

Youthblock Youth Health Service offer an outreach youth health service Break Thru People Solutions offer Family and Mental Health Support Barnardos Australia offer a range of programs such as the Street Work Program, Reconnect Program and Early Intervention Placement Prevention Program

BYRC Youth Drop-in

This is a space for young people to enjoy their afternoon where they can play pool, be social, meet new people and have access to our youth services.

Pride Youth Group

The PRIDE Youth Group is a safe, inclusive and friendly space. Each session varies from activities, discussions, excursions, special guests and events.

Twilight Sports

Twilight Sports is a  non-competitive indoor sports program aimed at encouraging social inclusion and participation for young people aged 12-18 in a fun way.

Our staff work from 9am-5pm, Mondays to Fridays, closed Public Holidays.

Our Drop-in program is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3-5pm during school term for young people aged 12-18.

If you are coming by train, get off at Belmore station and simply turn right as you exit from the top of the station at Burwood Road. Walk about 100 metres down Redman Parade. When you get to the last building on the right, you will have reached us. Now all you have to do is simply come in!
